My hair has allowed me to understand myself a little better. I once was told hurry and get your retouch and was often told that I had bad hair and was told this many times and I know growing up it wasn't said to hurt me but it was something that was taught early on. I have embrace the nappies and the kinkness of my lovey hair. I've change my thought process without processing my hair.

Girl I am so proud of you! I have been trying to love my naturally nappy self for a long time. I havent made it, but you inspire me. One of these days I am going to get free of this permed out prison. I love to see women uplift themselves and walk away from what society thinks we should be. (I have my fist raised in solidarity) Peace!
